THE PORN INDUSTRY AND STD'S

The porn industry is been going through some challenging times and it's high time they address the issue of safety and pleasure. Some in the industry have claimed wearing condoms in porn does not sell and as we all know it's all about selling. Recent events from Mr. Marcus, Cameron Bay and a host of adult stars has been troubling and has shed a new light on a troubling issue of STD transission. California is having a tough time legislating the use of condom in  the porn industry because of significant opposition from the porn industry. They have made claims about being safe because they are regularly tested as they claim. Testing regularly is not an answer to the issue of preventing STD's. The industry forgets actors/actresses have lives outside porn and that is where the risk lies in this issue. People go home everyday and am sure some of them have partners or even go on to engage in high risk behaviors outside. So rather than being naive they should be open to introducing serious safety measure to prevent what could become a serious epidemic in a very lousy industry to say the least.
